City Issues Approval for Mixed-Use Development in Lake City
DPD conditionally approved the design review for a mixed-use project located at 12544 15th Ave. N.E. in Lake City. The project includes a four-story building containing 2,500 square feet of ground level retail, one live-work unit and 36 residential units. Appeals of the decision may be submitted to the hearing examiner no later than Nov. 2.
Rescheduled Appeal Hearing for Belltown Development
An appeal has been filed on a conditional design review approval for a 14-story building containing 78 residential units located north of the Olympic Sculpture Park in Belltown at 3031 Western Ave. The appeal hearing that was originally scheduled for Dec. 1 will now be held on Dec. 15 at 9:00 a.m.
City Issues Approval for 43-Story Tower in Pioneer Square
DPD conditionally approved the design review for a mixed-use project located at 601 Fourth Ave. in downtown. The project includes a 43-story building with 593,000 square feet of office, 12,000 square feet of retail with 136 residential units above, and a three-story building with 19,000 square feet of restaurant/retail. There will also be 30,000 square feet of open space included as part of the project and a new access point to the existing Metro Bus Tunnel on Third Avenue.
